- All Kinedyne Snap Hooks used in a tie-down assembly are to be rated as a whole assembly (not the individual components). The Difference between Breaking Strength and Working Load Limit is: Breaking Strength refers to the point in which the tie-down you are using is going to fail. Working Load Limit is the maximum allowable load assigned to each tie down by the manufacturer which does not to exceed one-third of the complete assembly breaking strength.
