The Buyers Products SaltDogg PRO3000 electric hopper spreader with auger provides contractors and property managers with a powerful, durable solution for dump trucks or flatbeds with a minimum 13000 lbs GVW. With a 3 cu yd capacity, the spreader handles bulk salt or a 50/50 salt/sand mix. Its electric-powered design ensures quieter operation with no need for refueling or engine servicing. The PRO series spreader is an investment built to last, featuring a patented double-wall, all-poly hopper that is rust-proof and dent-resistant. The spreader is equipped with a 5.25 in full-length variable pitch steel auger in a stainless steel trough, powered by a 0.75 hp, 12 V gear motor. A 400 lbs vibrator works with the standard inverted V to keep material flowing. A separate 0.5 hp, 12 V motor powers the 14 in polymer spinner, casting material in a 5 to 30 ft radius. The PRO3000 also features an adjustable chute with 12 in of height variance and a swing-away design for easy unloading. Intuitive in-cab controls allow for independent management of conveyor and spinner speeds and vibrator activation.
