The Chelsea 489 series power take-off (PTO) unit is designed for manual transmissions to reduce mounting time and potential leak paths. Featuring a one-piece cast iron housing that bolts directly to the 8-Bolt transmission opening, it delivers the same torque capacity as the 442 series (250 lb-ft). Equipped with strong tapered bearings for greater load bearing capability, this PTO offers twenty-seven output options including a popular 360° rotatable flange with a greaseable shaft to reduce pump shaft spline fretting and corrosion.
