Features & Benefits
- This fitting is available in either a SLEEVE or SLEEVELESS type. .
- The sleeve type is a three-piece unit consisting of the body, sleeve and nut. The sleeveless type consists of only the body and socket
- All fittings, except sleeve, must be permanently marked air brake, AB or DOT
- Frame to axle or tractor-to-trailer gladhand connections, except compressor dischage
- Used with S.A.E. J1402 TYPE A Hose Only, Including frame to axle or tractor-to-trailer gladhand connections, except compressor dischage
- The sleeve is made from C36000 brass
- The bodies of both types have a hose support Sleeve machined into the body of the fitting
- Approved for all air brake applications, except compressor discharge. Easy assembly.
- Fittings meet minimum 900 psi burst pressure of SAE 51402 Type A hose
- Fittings are manufactured from C36000, C34500 and C35000 brass
