- Does not meet DOT or SAE specifications for air brake applications. Color of fittings differs from those that meet DOT and SAE specifications. NON DOT and SAE fittings are grey and orange in color.

- O-ring: Allows rotation, optimum positioning and high burst pressure
- Release button: Large release button contracts the gripping ring when pushed in. This design has 2 benefits: 1) Gripping fingers do not scratch the tube during installation or removal 2) Lower insertion & release forces
