Product Overview

GlobalSpiral couplings are specially engineered to provide superior performance for extreme high-pressure, high-impulse spiral-wire hydraulic hose applications. They can be used with all Gates® MegaSys four and six-spiral wire hose up to 6000 psi. When used with 2-wire ferrules, GlobalSpiral couplings can also be crimped on Gates® wire-braid hoses. The innovative, two-piece, no-skive design reduces assembly time, labor, fabrication errors and contamination of the fluid power system. S, M and L Drops per ISO final draft international standard 12151-S.

The two-piece design potentially reduces inventory by 30 percent since only one stem is required for all spiral wire hose types.

By pulling the ferrule away from the hose end, it's easier to see when the stem is fully and securely inserted into the hose.

The innovative two-piece, no-skive design allows for fast, tailor-made assemblies, reducing the chance of error and drastically reducing assembly time, labor, and contamination of the fluid power system.

Unique Bite-the-Wire Crimp Design allows for improved coupling retention and blow-off prevention.
