Product Overview

GlobalSpiral couplings are specially engineered to provide superior performance for extreme high-pressure, high-impulse spiral-wire hydraulic hose applications. They can be used with all Gates® MegaSys four and six-spiral wire hose up to 6000 psi. When used with 2-wire ferrules, GlobalSpiral couplings can also be crimped on Gates® wire-braid hoses. The innovative, two-piece, no-skive design reduces assembly time, labor, fabrication errors and contamination of the fluid power system. S, M and L Drops per ISO final draft international standard 12151-S.

Unique bite-the-wire crimp design provides improved coupling retention and blow-off prevention.

The innovative two-piece, no-skive configuration allows for fast, tailor-made assemblies and greatly reduces the chance of assembly error.

The two-piece design potentially reduces inventory by 30 percent since only one stem is required for all spiral wire hose types.

Eliminating the skiving process drastically reduces assembly time, labor, odor, fabrication errors, and contamination of the fluid power system.

By pulling the ferrule away from the hose end, it is easier to see when the stem is fully and securely inserted into the hose.

Maximum application coverage with couplings available in more than 80 thread configurations.
