Product Overview

GlobalSpiral couplings are specially engineered to provide superior performance for extreme high-pressure, high-impulse spiral-wire hydraulic hose applications. They can be used with all Gates® MegaSys four and six-spiral wire hose up to 6000 psi. When used with 2-wire ferrules, GlobalSpiral couplings can also be crimped on Gates® wire-braid hoses. The innovative, two-piece, no-skive design reduces assembly time, labor, fabrication errors and contamination of the fluid power system. S, M and L Drops are available per ISO final draft international standard 12151-S.

The two-piece design reduces the chance of assembly error and can reduce inventory by up to 30% as only one stem is required for all spiral wire hose types.

The innovative two-piece, no-skive design allows for fast, tailor-made assemblies by eliminating the skiving process, which drastically reduces assembly time, labor, odor, fabrication errors, and contamination of the fluid power system.

Unique 'Bite-the-Wire' crimp design allows for improved coupling retention and blow-off prevention.

By pulling the ferrule away from the hose end, it is easier to see when the stem is fully and securely inserted into the hose.
