Gates GlobalSpiral couplings are specially engineered to provide superior performance for extreme high-pressure, high-impulse spiral-wire hydraulic hose applications. The innovative, two-piece, no-skive design reduces assembly time, labor, fabrication errors and contamination of the fluid power system. They can be used with all Gates® MegaSys four and six-spiral wire hose up to 6000 psi, and can also be crimped on Gates® wire-braid hoses when used with 2-wire ferrules. Available in S, M and L Drops per ISO final draft international standard 12151-S.

The design can also reduce inventory by up to 30% as only one stem is required for all spiral wire hose types.

Successfully tested to one million impulse cycles without causing stress cracks in the hose tubing.

Features environmentally-friendly TuffCoat plating, providing over 5 times (347%) better corrosion resistance than the SAE ASTMB117 specification.

The unique Bite-the-wire Crimp design allows for improved coupling retention and blow-off prevention.

By pulling the ferrule away from the hose end, it's easier to see when the stem is fully and securely inserted into the hose.
