Product Overview

Gates® PolySleeve™ is a spiral wrap designed to protect or bundle hose for appearance and safety. It protects hose from chaffing, rubbing, crushing, ultraviolet rays, and other hazards that cause hose failures. As an easy and economical way to protect equipment, it can reduce downtime, improve sighting, and improve overall appearance. PolySleeve can be installed easily, even after the hose assembly is in place, and its rounded edges prevent installers from cutting their hands. It is made of heavy-wall, high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and has a wide temperature range; it becomes somewhat brittle at -40°F and soft at 280°F, but quickly returns to its original state after the temperature is normalized.
