Product Overview
Gates MegaCrimp couplings are designed for use with Gates wire braid hydraulic hose to create a robust, leak-free assembly. It’s the patented “C” insert inside that allows the coupling to perform so well, enabling usage with different hose constructions and wall thicknesses, including one- and two-wire braid hoses and select spiral hoses. The C-insert also ensures an even distribution of crimping forces to form a concentric seal, which simplifies inventory requirements since one size can accommodate many different hose ODs. MegaCrimp couplings are fully qualified for SAE, EN, and ISO performance.
