Gates MegaCrimp Couplings are designed for use with Gates wire braid hydraulic hose to create a robust, leak-free assembly. The performance comes from the patented, pre-assembled 'C' insert attached to the ferrule, which ensures an even distribution of crimping forces to form a concentric seal. This design allows usage with different hose constructions and wall thicknesses, simplifying inventory since one coupling size can accommodate many different one- and two-wire braid hoses and select xpiral hoses. MegaCrimp couplings are fully qualified for SAE, EN, and ISO performance.

The unique C-insert design ensures crimping forces are evenly distributed to form a concentric, weep-free, and leak-free seal, keeping equipment and the environment clean.

Simplifies inventory requirements and helps reduce costs, as one MegaCrimp coupling size can accommodate various 1- and 2-wire braid hydraulic hoses of different constructions and wall thicknesses, and is qualified on all Gates® wire-braid hoses.

Engineered with Gates® Full-Torque Nut™ technology, these couplings are stronger and more durable than traditional staked nut fittings, transferring input-torque to clamp-load more consistently to minimize leaks and prevent cracking from over-torquing.
