Gates MegaCrimp couplings are designed for use with Gates wire braid hydraulic hose to create a robust, leak-free assembly. The performance comes from the patented 'C' insert attached to the pre-assembled ferrule, which ensures an even distribution of crimping forces to form a concentric seal. This design allows a single coupling size to be used with various one- and two-wire braid hose constructions and wall thicknesses, simplifying inventory. MegaCrimp couplings are fully qualified for SAE, EN, and ISO performance.
