Gates MegaCrimp couplings are designed for use with Gates wire braid hydraulic hose to create a robust, leak-free assembly. The key to their performance is the patented 'C' insert, which allows a single coupling size to be used with various hose constructions and wall thicknesses, simplifying inventory. The C-insert ensures an even distribution of crimping forces to form a concentric seal. MegaCrimp couplings are pre-assembled and fully qualified for SAE, EN, and ISO performance.
