Gates MegaCrimp Couplings are designed for use with Gates Wire Braid Hydraulic Hoses to create a robust, leak-free assembly. The key to its performance is the patented 'C' insert, which allows usage with different hose constructions and wall thicknesses by ensuring an even distribution of crimping forces to form a concentric seal. This simplifies inventory requirements, as one size can accommodate many different hose ODs on one- and two-wire braid hoses and select spiral hoses. MegaCrimp couplings are fully qualified for SAE, EN, and ISO performance standards.

MegaCrimp couplings set a new standard for hydraulic couplings; the unique "C" insert ensures "weep-free" concentric crimping to keep equipment and the environment clean.

To combat hydraulic leaks from over-torquing, Gates® engineered Full-Torque Nut™ technology, available on MegaCrimp™ and GlobalSpiral™ couplings; they are stronger, more durable, and transfer input-torque to clamp-load more consistently than traditional staked nuts to minimize leaks and cracking.

Tested to 1,000,000 impulse cycles, surpassing design testing requirements and proving its high performance and maximum service.

Simplifies inventory management, as one MegaCrimp coupling size can accommodate various 1 and 2-wire braid hydraulic hoses of different constructions and wall thicknesses, and is qualified on all Gates® wire-braid hoses.
