Gates MegaCrimp couplings are designed for use with Gates wire braid hydraulic hose to create a robust, leak-free assembly. The performance of the coupling is driven by its patented 'C' insert attached to the ferrule, which allows for usage with different hose constructions and wall thicknesses by ensuring an even distribution of crimping forces to form a concentric seal. This simplifies inventory requirements since one coupling size can accommodate many different hose ODs. MegaCrimp couplings are fully qualified for SAE, EN, and ISO performance.

Features a robust 'bite-the-wire' crimp design with a low profile and full-stem insertion for high-performance coupling and hose retention, creating a risk-free hydraulic hose assembly.

Simplifies inventory management by allowing one coupling size to accommodate various 1- and 2-wire braid hydraulic hoses of different constructions and wall thicknesses, and are qualified on all Gates® wire-braid hoses.
