Gates MegaCrimp couplings are designed for use with Gates wire braid hydraulic hose to create a robust, leak-free assembly. The performance comes from the patented 'C' insert, which allows a single coupling size to accommodate various one- and two-wire braid hose constructions and wall thicknesses, simplifying inventory requirements. The C-insert also ensures an even distribution of crimping forces to form a concentric seal. MegaCrimp couplings are fully qualified for SAE, EN, and ISO performance.
