Gates MegaCrimp couplings are designed for use with Gates wire braid hydraulic hose to create a robust, leak-free assembly. The key to its performance is the pre-assembled, patented 'C' insert, which allows usage with different hose constructions and wall thicknesses. The C-insert ensures an even distribution of crimping forces to form a concentric seal, simplifying inventory requirements for both one- and two-wire braid hoses. MegaCrimp couplings are fully qualified for SAE, EN, and ISO performance.

- To prevent leaks from cracked nuts/seats due to over-torquing, Gates® Full-Torque Nut™ technology is stronger and more durable than traditional staked nuts, transferring input-torque to clamp-load more consistently to minimize leaks. This technology is available on Gates® MegaCrimp™ and GlobalSpiral™ couplings.
- Features a robust 'bite-the-wire' crimp design for superior coupling and hose retention, ensuring a high-performance, risk-free hydraulic hose assembly; designed with a low profile, full-stem insertion, and full-length crimp.
