Gates MegaCrimp couplings are designed for use with Gates wire braid and select spiral hydraulic hoses to create a robust, leak-free assembly. The performance is driven by the patented 'C' insert, which is pre-assembled and attached to the ferrule. This insert ensures an even distribution of crimping forces for a concentric seal and allows a single coupling size to accommodate various hose constructions and wall thicknesses, simplifying inventory. MegaCrimp couplings are fully qualified for SAE, EN, and ISO performance standards.
