Product Overview

Gates MegaCrimp couplings are designed for use with Gates wire braid hydraulic hose to create a robust, leak-free assembly. The pre-assembled coupling's performance comes from its patented 'C' insert, which is attached to the ferrule. This design allows usage with different hose constructions and wall thicknesses and ensures an even distribution of crimping forces for a concentric seal. This simplifies inventory since one size can accommodate many hose ODs on one- and two-wire braid hoses and select xpiral hoses. MegaCrimp couplings are fully qualified for SAE, EN, and ISO performance.

The unique 'C' insert design ensures crimping forces are evenly distributed to form a concentric, leak-free, and weep-free seal, keeping equipment and the environment clean.

Engineered with Gates® Full-Torque Nut™ technology, which is stronger and more durable than traditional staked nuts, transferring input-torque to clamp-load more consistently to minimize leaks and prevent cracking from over-torquing.
