Gates MegaCrimp couplings are designed for use with Gates wire braid hydraulic hoses to create a robust, leak-free assembly. The performance of the coupling comes from its patented 'C' insert, which allows usage with different hose constructions and wall thicknesses by ensuring an even distribution of crimping forces to form a concentric seal. This design simplifies inventory requirements, as one size can accommodate many different hose ODs on both one- and two-wire braid hoses. Additionally, MegaCrimp couplings are fully qualified for SAE, EN, and ISO performance.

Features Gates® Full-Torque Nut™ technology, which is stronger and more durable than traditional staked nuts, preventing cracking from over-torquing and transferring input-torque to clamp-load more consistently to minimize leaks.
