Product Overview
Gates MegaCrimp couplings are designed for use with Gates wire braid hydraulic hose to create a robust, leak-free assembly. The performance comes from the patented, pre-assembled 'C' insert which is attached to the ferrule. This insert ensures an even distribution of crimping forces to form a concentric seal and allows a single coupling size to be used with various one- and two-wire braid hoses of different constructions and wall thicknesses. MegaCrimp couplings are fully qualified for SAE, EN, and ISO performance.
