Gates MegaCrimp couplings are designed for use with Gates wire braid hydraulic hose to create a robust, leak-free assembly. The performance comes from its patented 'C' insert, which is attached to the ferrule and allows usage with different hose constructions and wall thicknesses. The C-insert ensures an even distribution of crimping forces to form a concentric seal, simplifying inventory requirements since one size can accommodate many different hose ODs on one- and two-wire braid hoses, and select Xpiral hoses. MegaCrimp couplings are fully qualified for SAE, EN, and ISO performance.

Simplifies inventory management as one MegaCrimp coupling size can accommodate various 1- and 2-wire braid hydraulic hoses of different constructions and wall thicknesses, and is qualified on all Gates® wire-braid hoses.

Engineered with Gates® Full-Torque Nut™ technology, which is stronger and more durable than traditional staked nuts, transferring input-torque to clamp-load more consistently to minimize leaks and prevent cracking from over-torquing.
