Gates MegaCrimp couplings are designed for use with Gates wire braid hydraulic hose to create a robust, leak-free assembly. The exceptional performance comes from the patented, pre-assembled 'C' insert attached to the ferrule, which ensures an even distribution of crimping forces to form a concentric seal. This design allows usage with various one- and two-wire braid hoses (and select xpiral hoses) of different constructions and wall thicknesses, simplifying inventory requirements. MegaCrimp couplings are fully qualified for SAE, EN, and ISO performance.
