Gates MegaCrimp couplings are designed for use with Gates wire braid and select xpiral hydraulic hoses to create a robust, leak-free assembly. The key to its performance is the patented 'C' insert, which allows a single coupling to be used with hoses of different constructions and wall thicknesses, simplifying inventory. The C-insert also ensures an even distribution of crimping forces to form a concentric seal. MegaCrimp couplings are fully qualified for SAE, EN, and ISO performance.
