The performance comes from the patented 'C' insert attached to the ferrule, which allows for usage with different hose constructions and wall thicknesses. This insert ensures an even distribution of crimping forces to form a concentric seal, simplifying inventory requirements. MegaCrimp couplings are fully qualified for SAE, EN, and ISO performance.

Simplifies inventory requirements by allowing one coupling size to accommodate various 1 and 2-wire braid hydraulic hoses of different constructions and wall thicknesses, including all Gates® wire-braid hoses.
