Product Overview
The EFG4K hose is recommended for extremely high-pressure, high-impulse applications. It exceeds all performance requirements for ISO 18752 Grade D (except OD for -6 to -10), SAE 100R12, EN 856 R12, and ISO 3862 Type R12. This hose is compatible with biodegradable hydraulic fluids like Polyester, Polyglycol, and vegetable oil, as well as standard petroleum-based fluids.
Features & Benefits
- Features a special Gates® MegaTuff™ cover that lasts up to 300 times longer than standard hose during hose-to-hose and hose-to-metal abrasion tests per ISO 6945, and offers superior ozone and weathering resistance.
- The optional XtraTuff™ cover lasts up to 25 times longer than standard hose.
- Compatible with biodegradable hydraulic fluids like Polyester, Polyglycol & Vegetable Oil as well as standard petroleum-based fluids.
- Validated for use with GlobalSpiral™ couplings (G20 series), GlobalSpiral™ one-piece couplings (G21 series, size -20 only with MC4-20 crimper), and stainless steel spiral couplings (G18 series).
- Superior flex impulse performance: tested to 1,000,000 impulse cycles at 50% of EN 856 R12 and SAE 100R12 bend radii.
- Meets or exceeds performance requirements of EN 856 4SP (-16, -20).
- Most flexible EN 856 R12 / SAE 100R12 hose in the industry.
- Available in 121 ft to 200 ft continuous lengths.
