Recommended for high-pressure hydraulic applications, this hose is easy to route and install in extremely tight areas. It allows for a tighter minimum bend radius, increased working pressure, and improved impulse cycles compared to industry standards. Meets or exceeds requirements of ISO 18752 Grade B, SAE 100R19, EN 857 2SC, and ISO11237 R19.
Features & Benefits
- Provides greater performance, flexibility, and easier routing for mobile and stationary hydraulic platforms, serving as an alternative to spiral hoses in high-pressure lines. Features 50% of EN 857 2SC and 40% of EN 853 2SN bend radius at rated working pressure, providing a bend radius up to 1/3 of the SAE specification.
- Meets flame resistance acceptance designation MSHA 2G. The optional MegaTuff™ cover offers superior ozone and weathering resistance, lasting up to 300 times longer than standard hose during hose-to-hose and hose-to-metal abrasion tests per ISO 6945. The optional XtraTuff™ cover lasts up to 25 times longer than standard hose.
- Recommended couplings include GlobalSpiral™ (G20 series), MegaCrimp™ (G25 series, sizes -4 to -12), Stainless Steel B (sizes -4 through -8), Stainless Steel S (sizes -10 to -16), stainless steel braid (G17 series), and stainless steel spiral (G18 series) couplings.
- Tested to 600,000 impulse cycles, 3 times the industry standard.
- Compatible with biodegradable hydraulic fluids like synthetic esters, polyglycols and vegetable oils as well as petroleum-based fluids.
