EFG6K hydraulic hose is recommended for extremely high-pressure, high-impulse applications such as hydrostatic transmissions. Compatible with biodegradable hydraulic fluids like polyolester, polyglycol, vegetable oil, and standard petroleum-based fluids. Designed to meet or exceed SAE 100R15 specifications and performance requirements of EN 856 4SP (sizes 6, 8, 10, 12), EN 856 4SH (sizes 12, 16, 20), and ISO 3862 Type R15 (sizes 6, 8, 10, 12, 16, 24). Meets Flame Resistance Acceptance Designation MSHA 2G. - Temperature Range: -40 Deg F - +250 Deg F (-40 Deg C - +121 Deg C). Recommended Couplings: GlobalSpiral, GlobalSpiral MAX Pressure & Stainless Steel S (Sizes 6 - 20).
- The optional MegaTuff™ cover lasts up to 300 times longer than standard hose during hose-to-hose and hose-to-metal abrasion tests per ISO 6945 and offers superior ozone and weathering resistance.
- For use with GlobalSpiral™ couplings [G20 Series], GlobalSpiral Max pressure couplings [G23 and G24 Series] and stainless steel spiral couplings [G18 Series].
- Superior flex impulse performance: Tested to 1,000,000 impulse cycles at 50% of SAE 100R15 bend radii (except -32).
- EFG6K MegaSpiral™ is rated at 1/2 bend radius of SAE 100R15.
- 6000 PSI constant pressure for all inside diameters.
- -6 to -20 validated with GlobalSpiral™; -24, -32 with GlobalSpiral™ maximum.
- Up to 40% of EN 856 4SP/4SH bend radius at rated working pressure.
