EFG5K hose is recommended for extremely high pressure and high impulse hydraulic applications. It is compatible with biodegradable hydraulic fluids such as polyolester, polyglycol, and vegetable oil, as well as standard petroleum-based fluids. Designed to meet or exceed all requirements of SAE 100R13, ISO 3862 R13, and performance requirements of EN 856 4SH, 4SP, and R13 specifications. - EFG5K is Designed to Meet or Exceed All Requirements of SAE 100R13 Specifications & Performance Requirements of EN 856 4SH (Sizes 16 & 20), EN 856 4SP (Sizes 10 & 12), EN 856 R13 & ISO 3862 Type R13 (Sizes 12, 16, 20, 24 & 32).
- Temperature Range: -40 Deg F - +250 Deg F (-40 Deg C - +121 Deg C). Recommended Couplings: GlobalSpiral, GlobalSpiral MAX Pressure & Stainless Steel S.
- The optional MegaTuff™ cover lasts up to 300 times longer than standard hose during hose-to-hose and hose-to-metal abrasion tests per ISO 6945 and offers superior ozone and weathering resistance.
- The optional XtraTuff™ cover lasts up to 25 times longer than standard hose.
- For use with GlobalSpiral™ couplings [G20 Series], GlobalSpiral Max [G23 and G24 Series] and stainless steel spiral couplings [G18 Series].
- Superior flex impulse performance: Tested to 1,000,000 impulse cycles at 50% of EN 856 R13 and SAE 100R13 bend radii (except -32).
- Up to 40% of EN 856 4SP/4SH bend radius at rated working pressure.
- EFG5K MegaSpiral™ is rated at 1/2 bend radius of SAE 100R13.
- 5000 PSI constant pressure for all ID's.
