- All Kinedyne ratchet strap are rated as a whole assembly (not the individual components) and are Tagged and Stenciled in accordance to North American Regulations: Manufacturers Name, Working Load Limit in Pounds and Kilograms. The Difference between Breaking Strength and Working Load Limit is: Breaking Strength refers to the point in which the tie-down you are using is going to fail. Working Load Limit is the maximum allowable load assigned to each tie down by the manufacturer which does not to exceed one-third of the complete assembly breaking strength.
