We've manufactured our 2 in Wide Handle Ratchet with the user in mind to make tensioning your load easier. This Kinedyne heat-treated carbon steel wide handle ratchet is comprised of a round gear with teeth and a spring-loaded pawl that engages those teeth, which work together to bite down on the ratchet strap as it tensions your strap. To release your load, just pull the handle pawl back and rotate the handle over the center to the fully open position for quick loading and unloading.
