This coil chock is designed to be used with 4 in x 4 in lumber and the appropriate amount of chain to keep coils from rolling on flatbeds during transport. Manufactured from 10 gauge hot rolled steel and powder coated black for durability, it measures 33.25 in long, making it ideal for securing various coil sizes. The coil chock is held in place by the lumber and coil itself, requiring no additional tie-downs, simplifying securement. Note that this coil chock is not a cargo control device and should not be included in total cargo control system working load limit calculations.
