The Monroe® Magnum® shock absorber for class 3-6 vehicles is gas-charged for quicker response and a stable, more comfortable ride. Designed to handle the demands of high mileage and severe use vehicles, replace worn-out units with Magnum® shocks to help reduce excessive vibration.

- Provides exceptional handling with 10-stage full displaced valving, tuned specifically to each vehicle, that adjusts to road extremes, while the larger 1-3/8 in bore provides efficient damping control for a consistent, smooth ride (on most applications).
- Ensures a consistent ride with all-weather fluid containing special additives for extreme temperatures, while a 2 in to 2-3/8 in reserve tube holds more fluid to improve performance (where required).
- Engineered for a longer service life with a multi-lip fluid seal for reduced friction, a PTFE-coated bearing, and a nitrocarburized piston rod for durability.
- Built to last with a patented, robust hydraulic lockout that prevents over-extension of the piston and damage to the seal assembly (on most applications).
- Strong and durable, featuring resistance and 360-degree arc-welded mounts that provide 9,500 lbs of tensile strength, while a shouldered and bonded bushing with sleeve protects from bushing walkout for improved quality.
- Nitrogen gas-charge improves ride and handling by maintaining tire-to-road contact, reducing aeration and shock fade.
