The Monroe® Magnum® shock absorber for class 6-8 vehicles is the first gas-charged, large-bore shock specifically designed for air spring and taper leaf suspensions. Its nitrogen gas charge provides the fast response essential for today’s heavy-duty truck suspension systems.

- A patented, robust hydraulic lockout prevents over-extension of the piston and damage to the seal assembly, which is critical for vehicles with air bags (most applications).
- A hardened, nitrocarburized 23/32 in diameter chrome piston rod and a PTFE-coated bearing reduce friction, providing durability for a longer service life (most applications).
- All-weather fluid contains special additives to assist with extreme temperatures and help reduce oil breakdown for a consistent ride (most applications).
- Delivers exceptional control and isolates impact-related noise, vibration and harshness under most driving conditions.
