The Monroe® Magnum® shock absorber for class 6-8 vehicles is the first gas-charged, large-bore shock specifically designed for air spring and taper leaf suspensions. Its nitrogen gas charge provides the fast response essential for today’s heavy-duty truck suspension systems.

- Exceptional handling - 10-stage valving, tuned specifically to each vehicle, adjusts to road extremes while the larger 1-3/4 in bore provides more efficient damping control to provide consistency and a smooth ride (most applications).
- Strong and durable - shouldered bushing and bonded bushing with sleeve protects from bushing walkout for improved quality; arc welds up to 360 deg for durability.
- Longer service life - Bearing with PTFE coating reduces friction between rod and rod guide combined with nitrocarburized piston rod provides durability and longer service life (most applications).
