Permatex’s medium-strength Threadlocker 242 blue is formulated to lock and seal threads for nut and bolt applications from 1/4" to 3/4" (6 mm to 20 mm). It eliminates the need for stocking expensive lock nuts and washers by preventing parts loosening due to vibration while protecting threads from corrosion. Threadlocker 242 is removable with hand tools for easy disassembly and meets USA Mil-Spec (S-46163A) Type II, Grade N standards.
