A LIFELine® Kit combines Tectran’s industry leading designs into a complete, ready-to-install tractor-trailer connection system. Factory assembly and premium components eliminate the guesswork and reduce installation labor to an absolute minimum, which drives value to the absolute maximum. Order a single part number and install it with a single wrench. Available with or without tender kits so select the right configuration for your application. 4th Line is a 4GA single pole cable with an external ground (also available separately in straight or coiled form). Factory installed, anodized gladhands with polyurethane seals and stainless-steel filter screens. TEC-360® Clamps - Can be easily repositioned without tools and 360° swivels allow the LIFELine® Kit to rotate freely which prevents binding, interlocked springs, and stress on connection points. LIFESwivel® - 100% brass, live swivel fittings at tractor end allow for easy single-wrench installation. FLEXGrip-HD® - Dual-function gladhand grips act as bend restrictors during tight turns and also serve as handles for extra leverage during trailer hook-up (Patent Pending). Bend Restrictors – Thermo-elastomeric reinforcement guards located on the tractor leads prevent the hoses from kinking and will not corrode like standard spring guards (Patent Pending). WeatherSeal® sleeves on all electrical plugs prevent water and moisture from entering the back of the plug and also provide excellent strain relief during sharp turns. 2-Hole TEC-CLAMPS® are included for optional storage of the 4th line if the assembly is being used to haul a standard trailer without a socket for it.
