Clutch brakes are designed to extend the life of a vehicle transmission by eliminating damaging gear clash while reducing the effort required to shift into first or reverse from a standstill. Eaton offers two separate clutch brake options. The two-piece clutch brake provides cooler operation than competitive clutch brakes. It is designed for service applications and can be quickly installed without removing the transmission.
