Patented cryogenically treated springs, superior lead-free ceramic friction, sealed permanently lubed release bearing, patented self-locking adjuster. During clutch disengagement, if release bearing travel is 1/2 in or less, no adjustment is necessary due to the built-in lost release bearing position. When the clutch wears, release bearing travel increases beyond the lost motion window and advances the worm gear, which turns the adjusting ring to compensate for wear, repositioning the release bearing.
