The difference between Breaking Strength and Working Load Limit is: Breaking Strength refers to the point at which the tie-down you are using is going to fail. Working Load Limit is the maximum allowable load assigned to each tie down by the manufacturer which does not exceed one-third of the complete assembly breaking strength.
