The 30/30® High-Capacity Pleated Panel Filters are designed as box filters with a MERV 8 rating, measuring 24 in W x 2 in D x 24 in H each. These filters feature a high capacity pleated panel available in 1 in, 2 in or 4 in depths, incorporating a welded wire grid to maintain the radial pleat and prevent distortion of the media pack even under turbulent or high airflow conditions. The exclusive MERV 8 media is a proprietary blend of cotton and polyester fibres, providing consistent dirt removal efficiency throughout the filter's life. The 30/30 meets today's medical facility requirements and offers a low initial and maintained low resistance to airflow, saving energy dollars over its lifespan. The filter frame is made from a high wet-strength beverage board to maintain rigidity in any application. The media blanket is a uniform lofted blend of cotton and synthetic fibres, evaluated under ASHRAE Testing Standard 52.2, with a MERV and MERV-A value of 8. Typical applications include use as pre-filters to higher efficiency filters, stand-alone filters for rooftops, split systems, free-standing units, package systems, and air handlers, ideal for commercial, industrial, institutional, or any other application requiring ultimate protection of equipment and indoor air quality. Initial resistance to airflow and other sizes are also available. The filter supports airflow capacities from 1000 to 2000 CFM with low resistance values and has a maximum continuous operating temperature of 200ºF (93ºC)
