This Carbon Monoxide Alarm by SCN is designed for reliable detection of carbon monoxide with advanced features including a 3rd Generation electronic CO sensing circuit and a latching alarm indicator. It operates on 120VAC with a 9V battery back-up, with the 9V battery pre-installed for convenience. The unit offers quick and easy connection to AC power via a centered “Quick-Connect" wiring harness and is interconnectable to up to 12 multiple station alarms, allowing for comprehensive coverage. It features a single test/silence button that tests all functions by electronically simulating the presence of CO and silences the alarm temporarily while occupants respond. The alarm has low power consumption (0.085 A standby, .087 A in alarm) and a red LED that indicates which power supply is active.
