This product is a fusible link self-closing drum cover designed for 55 US gal drums. It converts open top 55 US gal/45 imp. gal steel drums into fire-safe receptacles for combustible trash. The cover features a replaceable fusible link assembly inside that melts at 165°F, automatically slamming the cover shut if a fire occurs in the drum. It is constructed of steel with a solvent resistant, red baked-on-enamel finish and fits drums from 22 1/2 in to 22 3/4 in in diameter. The product is FM approved
