The OE rubber pivot bushing, RB205/RB234/RB268, for the Freightliner Airliner II suspension has had issues with bushings rotating and migrating out of position within the spring eye. This occurs due to spring eye weakening from stress and use, causing the eye to open beyond OE specifications. As the spring eye enlarges, the grip on the bushing weakens, leading to rotation and walk-out. The latest OE rubber bushing design, RB268, is crimped on one end and flared on the other to prevent migration when the eye weakens. However, this design does not address the root causes. Stress on the spring eye and wear from suspension articulation combined with the non-rotating OE rubber bushing pin cause the entire bushing to rotate and laterally migrate out of position.Spring Pivot Bushing, Oversized, 3.61 in L, 2.56 in OD
