All Kinedyne Chains are rated as a whole assembly (not the individual components) and are Embossed in accordance to National Association of Chain Manufacturers - Embossed with Manufacture's Identification Mark as well as 30 to identify it as Grade 30 OR 70 to identify it as Grade 70. The Difference between Breaking Strength and Working Load Limit is: Breaking Strength refers to the point in which the Chain Assembly you are using is going to fail. Working Load Limit is the maximum allowable load assigned to each chain assembly by the manufacturer which does not to exceed one-forth of the complete assembly breaking strength
