Gates MegaCrimp Couplings are designed for use with Gates Wire Braid Hydraulic Hoses to create a robust, leak-free assembly. The performance comes from the patented 'C' insert attached to the ferrule, which ensures an even distribution of crimping forces for a concentric seal. This design allows a single coupling to be used with various one- and two-wire braid hoses of different constructions and wall thicknesses, simplifying inventory. MegaCrimp couplings are fully qualified for SAE, EN, and ISO performance.

To prevent leaks from over-torquing, Gates® Full-Torque Nut™ technology makes couplings stronger and more durable than staked nut fittings, transferring input-torque to clamp-load more consistently. This technology is available on Gates® MegaCrimp™ and GlobalSpiral™ couplings.

Features a robust 'bite-the-wire' crimp design with a low profile, full-stem insertion, and full-length crimp for superior coupling and hose retention, creating a high-performance, risk-free hydraulic hose assembly.

The unique "C" insert sets a new standard for hydraulic couplings by ensuring "weep-free" concentric crimping, which keeps equipment and the surrounding environment clean.

Simplifies inventory requirements and reduces costs, as one MegaCrimp coupling size can accommodate various 1 and 2-wire braid hydraulic hoses of different constructions and wall thicknesses, and is qualified on all Gates® wire-braid hoses.
