Pennzoil® Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) is a high-quality, multi-functional, petroleum-based fluid designed for automatic and powershift transmissions. It provides consistent, reliable, and smooth operation of transmission systems, generally used in older passenger cars and a wide variety of other applications including mobile equipment and light trucks. This mineral oil ATF features high oxidation resistance, shear stability, outstanding anti-wear and gear protection to extend transmission component life. It offers excellent friction, oxidation, and thermal stability, protects components from corrosive acid attack, and is compatible with seal materials. Suitable for historic General Motors DEXRON® III, Ford MERCON®, Allison C-4/C-3 service fill in transmissions, transfer cases, power steering, and hydraulic systems. Not for use in Ford Type F applications.
