Gates MegaCrimp Couplings are designed for use with Gates wire braid hydraulic hose to create a robust, leak-free assembly. The performance comes from the patented 'C' insert attached to the ferrule, which ensures an even distribution of crimping forces for a concentric seal. This design allows one coupling size to be used with different hose constructions and wall thicknesses (including one- and two-wire braid and select spiral hoses), simplifying inventory requirements. MegaCrimp couplings are fully qualified for SAE, EN, and ISO performance.

MegaCrimp couplings set a new standard for hydraulic couplings; the unique "C" insert ensures a weep-free, concentric crimp to keep equipment and the environment clean.

To prevent leaks from over-torquing, Gates® Full-Torque Nut™ technology, available on MegaCrimp™ and GlobalSpiral™ couplings, is stronger, more durable, and transfers input-torque to clamp-load more consistently than traditional staked nuts.

Simplifies inventory management and reduces costs, as one MegaCrimp coupling size can accommodate various 1 and 2-wire braid hydraulic hoses of different constructions and wall thicknesses, and is qualified on all Gates® wire-braid hoses.

Features a robust 'bite-the-wire' design with full-stem insertion and a full-length crimp for superior coupling and hose retention, creating a high-performance, risk-free assembly.
