Gates MegaCrimp couplings are designed for use with Gates wire braid, and select spiral, hydraulic hoses to create a robust, leak-free assembly. The performance comes from the patented 'C' insert, which ensures an even distribution of crimping forces to form a concentric seal. This design allows a single coupling size to be used with various hose constructions and wall thicknesses, simplifying inventory requirements. MegaCrimp couplings are fully qualified for SAE, EN, and ISO performance.
